Construction worker arrested for illegally trading 2,000 synthetic drug pills

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation and using professional measures, the drug crime prevention and control detectives (Do Luong District Police) discovered that Tran Van Hoa had many illegal drug trafficking activities from Laos to Vietnam. Do Luong District Police reported and received the consent of the provincial police leaders to direct and establish a special project to fight.

During the verification process, the police identified Hoa as a construction worker who had spent a lot of time living in Laos. After receiving information that Hoa had bought drugs from Laos and then tried to transport them to Vietnam from Thanh Thuy border gate (Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An), Do Luong district police directed the Criminal Investigation Team on criminal, economic and drug crimes to "monitor" all movements of the subject to arrest him.

At about 23:45 on February 14, 2023, at Hamlet 6, Da Son Commune, Do Luong District, using professional measures, Do Luong District Police caught Tran Van Hoa (born in 1982), residing in Block 2, Anh Son Town (Nghe An) for illegal drug trafficking. At the scene, the police seized 2,000 synthetic drug pills.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by Do Luong District Police.
