More than 1 ton of stinking pig viscera and skin seized

At around 2:30 p.m. on November 15, Hoang Mai Town police discovered and seized a passenger bus transporting nearly 1.1 tons of animal organs and rotten pig skin on its way to be sold.

Authorities inspect the shipment on passenger bus 18B-00201.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the passenger bus with license plate 18B-00201 traveling in the direction of Vinh - Hanoi, driven by Mr. Tran Ngoc Thoan (born in 1970), residing in Hamlet 6, Lam My Commune, Nam Truc District, Nam Dinh Province, was carrying 14 sacks containing animal organs and pig skin.

The authorities have drawn up a record, temporarily detained the vehicle and exhibits, and completed procedures to hand over to the Bac Nghe An Animal Quarantine Station for handling according to regulations.
