Young man arrested for buying firecrackers online to make fireworks to sell

Vinh City Police have just arrested Nguyen Anh Vinh (born 2003; residing in Nghi Phu commune) for possessing explosives and firecrackers. Accordingly, at about 9:00 p.m. on October 29, 2020, on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Le Loi Ward, the Vinh City Police Investigation Team discovered Nguyen Anh Vinh walking on the street with suspicious signs. Vinh admitted that the contraband was his, that he bought the fireworks online, and that he researched the formula to make fireworks to sell. He is currently being detained for investigation on charges of illegally manufacturing, transporting, and trading explosives.

Vinh City Police also discovered a suspicious subject in Nghi Thuy Ward (Cua Lo Town) while patrolling on October 31. Through inspection, they discovered that Vo Duc Han (born in 1986; residing in Block 3, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town) was buying and selling firecrackers.

Vo Duc Han confessed that he bought the above mentioned quantity of firecrackers from Nguyen Thi Mai Lan (born in 1994; residing in block 3, Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo town) and was planning to sell them for profit. On the same day, the authorities executed an emergency search warrant at Nguyen Thi Mai Lan's house and seized more than 20kg of them.cannontypes, and at the same time issued an emergency arrest decision for both subjects.
