Arrested two young men selling firecrackers

(Baonghean.vn) - At 1:30 p.m. on January 31, at Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city), the Security Team (Vinh city police) discovered and arrested a case of illegal trading of explosives.

Implementing the plan of Vinh City Police to strengthen the prevention of production, trading and transportation of firecrackers during the Lunar New Year, the Vinh City Police Security Team discovered two subjects, Nguyen Ngoc Minh Hieu (born in 1998) and Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1999), both residing in Hamlet 10, Nghi Phu Commune, carrying a plastic bag with suspicious signs.

The subject was arrested at the police station.

2kg of homemade fireworks were seized by police.

Upon inspection, the police discovered 2kg of homemade fireworks in the plastic bag. The suspects confessed to buying the fireworks from a woman residing in Nghi Phu commune to resell to another person.

The working group has drawn up a record to temporarily detain the subjects and exhibits, and continues to investigate to clarify the case.
