A group of 17 people (mostly women) were gambling in an abandoned house when they were caught red-handed by the police.

On February 14, Cho Gao District Police (Tien Giang Province) opened an investigation file against Le Quoc Hung (born in 1973, residing in Long Binh Dien Commune, Cho Gao District) and nearly 20 other people for the act ofgamble.

According to the police, at 10:00 p.m. on February 13 (the 2nd day of Tet), the Criminal Police Department coordinated with Cho Gao District Police to raid an abandoned house in Long Binh Dien commune.

The police caught 17 people (12 of them were women) red-handed, temporarily confiscated 212 million VND, and 18 decks of cards. These people admitted that Hung organized the gambling den and chose an abandoned house as a gathering place to "gamble" with each other.
