Caught red-handed many subjects illegally storing and transporting fireworks

(Baonghean.vn) - The Environmental Police Department (PC49) and Dien Chau District Police have just discovered and arrested 3 cases of storing and transporting firecrackers, seizing 23.2 kg of various types of firecrackers.

* At 8:30 p.m. on December 22, the Economic - Drug Team of Dien Chau District Police arrested Hoang Van Giang (born in 1985, residing in Hamlet 13, Dien Thinh Commune) for possessing 11.2 kg of firecrackers. The subject stated that he had asked a resident in Dien Bich Commune, Dien Chau District to buy the firecrackers for him to use.

Dien Chau District Police are coordinating with the District People's Procuracy to complete the case file to prosecute Hoang Van Giang.

* Then, at 10 p.m. the same day, the Social Order Crime Investigation Police Team of Dien Chau District Police discovered and arrested Phan Van Trung (born in 1997), residing in Hamlet 7, Quynh Thanh Commune, Quynh Luu District, carrying 2 boxes of firecrackers weighing 4 kg.

* Previously, at around 9:30 p.m. on December 21, 2016, at the entrance gate to Bac Vinh Industrial Park, in Yen Xa hamlet, Hung Dong commune (Vinh city), PC49 detectives ambushed and caught Nguyen Van Phuc (born in 1996), residing in hamlet 11, Thanh Luong commune, Thanh Chuong district, illegally storing fireworks.

Evidence seized at the scene included 5 boxes of foreign-made firecrackers weighing 8kg, 1 yellow-black motorbike, license plate 37E1 – 36.350.

Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and clarify the cases to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
