The Congress discussed enthusiastically, frankly, democratically and unanimously passed important documents: Political report. Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the District Party Executive Committee, term XXVII; Report synthesizing opinions on draft documents submitted to the 19th Provincial Party Congress, Documents submitted to the 13th National Party Congress and Resolution of the 28th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
The Congress elected 40 comrades to the 28th term District Party Executive Committee; representing the intelligence, qualities, capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, demonstrating the inheritance, continuity and innovation of personnel work, to lead and organize the successful implementation of the Congress's resolutions.
The Congress also elected a delegation of 17 official comrades and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
In his closing speech at the congress, Secretary of the District Party Committee Hoang Danh Lai emphasized: To make the Congress Resolution a reality, the decisive issue is the organization of implementation. Therefore, the Congress requires each grassroots party organization, each industry, each level, each cadre and party member to have a specific and scientific program and plan to successfully organize the implementation of the goals, targets and tasks set out in the Congress Resolution.

Immediately after the Congress, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and people's organizations in the district need to urgently propagate and widely disseminate the results of the Congress, especially the contents of the Congress Resolution to cadres, party members and people.
