Closing and awarding ceremony of the 2022 Nghe An Provincial Competition for Excellent Political Theory Lecturers

On the afternoon of June 30, at the Provincial Political School, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the 2022 Provincial-level Excellent Political Theory Lecturer Competition.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Principal of the Provincial Political School.

The 2022 Provincial Competition for Excellent Political Theory Lecturers took place on June 29-30, with the participation of 20 contestants from the Political Centers of districts and cities in the province. The contestants performed 3 parts of the competition: Lesson plan, live lecture and answering questions from the judges.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, most of the candidates prepared serious and quality lesson plans. The basic lectures linked theory with practice. The scientific sections, convincing presentations, closely following the outline were presented in many different styles. The lesson plans looked beautiful.

Most candidates prepared well for their lectures; chose appropriate and engaging delivery methods. Many candidates chose rich and lively content for their lectures, with skillful teaching methods, highlighting the key issues of the lectures.

The Organizing Committee highly appreciated many lectures presented by the contestants at the contest, demonstrating creativity in teaching methods and flexibility in handling situations.

In the question-answering part, the candidates basically answered the key points of the question; most of the candidates answered confidently and met the requirements, showing that the candidates' knowledge was solid and they handled the situation flexibly.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also noted that candidates need to choose more concise issues, closely following the requirements.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized: Teaching political theory along with being equipped with knowledge and pedagogical skills requires lecturers to have passion and dedication to their work. Therefore, through the Competition, lecturers continue to enhance exchanges, learn from experiences, and innovate skills and teaching methods from their colleagues.

According to the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the 2022 Competition for Excellent Political Theory Lecturers shows that most districts, cities and towns in the province consider political theory education as their important task.

Through the contest, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and districts, cities and towns will have an opportunity to properly assess the capacity and qualifications of the specialized teaching staff at the District Political Center. From there, they will have a plan to train, foster and improve the capacity of the specialized teaching staff to meet the requirements of the tasks in the coming time.

At the same time, this helps Party committees at all levels raise awareness of the position, role and importance of political theory education at the local level, contributing to enhancing the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels in political theory education.

With the careful preparation of the Organizing Committee, the serious, objective and fair working spirit of the Jury and the enthusiastic and responsible participation of the contestants, at the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to contestant Vo Van Thinh - Deputy Director of Nghi Loc District Political Center; awarded 3 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes and Encouragement Prizes to the contestants.
