Vinh City General Hospital: Striving to complete the 'dual task'
(Baonghean.vn) - The Covid-19 pandemic is placing a heavy burden on the country's health sector as doctors and nurses have to "carry out dual duties". As the frontline in the fight against the pandemic, Vinh General Hospital is striving to overcome difficulties to fulfill its noble mission of medical examination and treatment while contributing to the prevention and control of the pandemic in the community.
Fulfilling the mission
The Covid-19 epidemic is complicated, in Nghe An, recently, doctors and nurses have had to perform "dual tasks" in extremely difficult conditions. Regularly receiving nearly 2,000 patients for medical examination and treatment (KCB) every day, the risk of disease transmission from the community is very high, but Vinh General Hospital has proactively planned to both complete its mission and ensure the safety of staff, patients and their families.

They had to both fight the epidemic and strive to fulfill their noble mission. The doctors became brave soldiers...
“Although I am taking care of a young child, during this time, we work without days off, staying at the hospital 24/7 to both perform the task of taking care of the patient's health and ensuring the safety of myself, the patients and my family. When I am tired, have milk ducts, miss and miss my child, I have to keep it to myself. Determining our duty as frontline soldiers, we always strive and fight tirelessly to complete our mission...” - Dr. Nguyen Thi Tram Anh - Faculty of Traditional Medicine - VLTL - PHCN shared.
