(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 22, Mr. Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council met with voters of the wards: Truong Thi, Trung Do, Ben Thuy (Vinh City) after the 4th Session of the 15th National Assembly, before the 11th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

Meeting with voters at the conference held in Ben Thuy ward, there was Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training, XV National Assembly Delegate of constituency No. 4.

At the conference, many voters suggested having appropriate policies associated with speeding up the implementation of resolving collective housing areas such as the Fiber Factory Collective Housing Area in Ben Thuy Ward and the Water Factory Collective Housing Area in Truong Thi Ward.

Regarding this content, Mr. Tuong Dang Bang and many voters of Ben Thuy ward proposed to study timely solutions to quickly resolve the issue for the residents of the Textile Factory Collective Area.

It is known that the Textile Factory Collective Housing Area has 244 households. Currently, the first phase of settlement is being focused on 54 households who purchased collective housing at discounted prices since 1992. Vinh City is currently making a plan for compensation and site clearance.

Through synthesizing opinions, voters proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider special policies, deduct financial obligations such as the settlement of previous collective housing areas or have other support plans to ensure the rights of the people.

Voter Nguyen Dinh Ky, Trung Do ward, proposed that the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council have a mechanism to compensate and support land clearance for people living in the planning area of ​​Quyet Mountain Forest Park and especially 28 households in areas at high risk of landslides, of which 12 households are at very high risk of landslides.

Mr. Ky also requested the province and city to speed up the approval and construction of a 5.5-hectare resettlement planning area in Block 3, Trung Do Ward to solve current pressing problems in the ward such as landslides and flooding. Vinh City is interested in investing in completing the Vinh River embankment; Den Bridge ramp and solutions to prevent local flooding in the area.

Voter Nguyen Doan Truong, block 14, Truong Thi ward, suggested strict management of advertising, especially advertising for selling medicine, to ensure truthfulness, especially now when many artists are participating in advertising; at the same time, he also suggested that the province have a policy to invest in renovating the Goong lake area.

Also at the conference, voters made many recommendations, including asking the Government to strengthen the management and trading of petroleum products to ensure that it meets the production and consumption needs of the people; the National Assembly needs to continue to improve and enhance the quality of law-making work, closely monitor the promulgation of sub-law documents to ensure that the promulgated laws are soon put into practice.

Voters also requested the Party and State to continue to strongly fight against corruption crimes, implement breakthrough measures to recover corrupt assets; strengthen inspection and supervision of the activities of judicial and internal affairs agencies in corruption prevention and control.

Voters also proposed many contents related to reviewing the regime and policies for non-professional cadres in wards and blocks; strengthening market management; increasing the level of punishment for violations of food safety and hygiene;...

After listening to voters' opinions, leaders of relevant departments and branches and Vinh City responded to voters' recommendations under their authority. Regarding the issue of resolving 14 remaining collective housing areas in Vinh City, Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Pham Van Toan said: The Department and Vinh City People's Committee have worked on this issue many times, in which the biggest problem is the plan to determine financial obligations.

Mr. Pham Van Toan said that the Department's viewpoint is in agreement with Vinh City's viewpoint on how to handle old collective housing areas in the past, and now the plan to determine financial obligations for 14 remaining collective housing areas needs to be handled in the same way; accordingly, households will have their financial obligations deducted.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment requested that the provincial departments, especially the Finance Department, agree with the handling direction; at the same time, he requested Vinh City to review the remaining collective housing areas once again and submit them to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; at the same time, develop a detailed assignment plan and a specific implementation roadmap. From the Department's perspective, he said that the unit will fulfill its responsibilities and maximize the benefits for the people.

On behalf of the National Assembly deputies and provincial People's Council deputies, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Thai Thanh Quy received and responded to voters' recommendations, and said that he would fully synthesize and send them to central agencies, especially the National Assembly and the Government, on contents within their authority.

In particular, regarding the issue that many voters are concerned about, which is the handling of 14 remaining collective housing areas in Vinh City, the Provincial Party Secretary shared the difficulties in voters' lives, and analyzed that these are collective housing areas with many difficult factors, so they still exist.

Therefore, Mr. Thai Thanh Quy hopes that the voters involved need to cooperate, unite, reach consensus, and be highly unified in the process of resolving these collective housing areas. This is a very important factor because there are many situations that occur during the arrangement process, so if the people do not reach consensus, unite, and be highly unified, it will be very difficult for the province and Vinh City to implement.

Concerned about the lives, especially the safety of people currently living in old collective housing areas, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that Vinh City should consider this an important task; thereby, the Steering Committee for resolving old collective housing areas of Vinh City needs to organize work methodically, assign specific tasks, pursue and handle different opinions.

Accordingly, the Head of the National Assembly Delegation and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that the leaders of Vinh City should boldly report to the Provincial People's Committee to chair the meeting for opinions on solutions. If the Provincial People's Committee still has not reached a final solution after the meeting, it should submit it to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to listen and give its opinion on solutions.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the view that the sooner the better to ensure the safety of the people, not waiting for the deadline according to the Resolution of the Vinh City Party Congress, which determined that by 2025, the remaining old collective housing areas will be completely resolved.

Regarding the settlement for households affected by the landslide of Quyet mountain, the Provincial Party Secretary also requested that Vinh City and related departments and branches must uphold their responsibilities, especially Vinh City must proactively coordinate with related parties to promptly implement./.
