Provincial Party Secretary presents Tet gifts to poor households in the resettlement area of ​​Ban Ve Hydropower Plant

(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of January 12, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances at the Ban Ve Hydropower Resettlement Area, Thanh Chuong District and families of elderly Party members. Accompanying him were representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

The Provincial Party Secretary presented 250 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged families in Ngoc Lam and Thanh Son communes, Thanh Chuong district. These are two resettlement communes of Ban Ve Hydropower Plant.

Talking to the people, the Provincial Party Secretary said that every time Tet comes, Spring returns, the province has a policy of calling for support to help the poor, the lonely, and policy families have the conditions to celebrate Tet.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh also announced some outstanding socio-economic results of the province; at the same time thanked the people of the two communes for supporting and relocating to build Ban Ve Hydropower Plant.

Sharing the difficulties of people in resettlement communes, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the province and localities will continue to have solutions to better organize production to improve the lives of people in Ngoc Lam and Thanh Son communes.

On the occasion of the coming of Tet and Spring, the Provincial Party Secretary wished the people of the two communes a happy, warm and civilized Tet; as well as to continue to strive in production to improve their lives in the new year.

Previously, the Provincial Party Secretary visited and wished a Happy New Year to the family of Comrade Kieu Dinh Le, born in 1912, a 70-year Party member, in Thanh Lien commune, Thanh Chuong district. Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh kindly asked about Comrade Kieu Dinh Le's health and wished the family good health and a warm and happy traditional New Year.
