Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy and the delegation offered incense and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery. The cemetery was built in 1976 on an area of ​​nearly 7 hectares and is the resting place of nearly 11,000 heroic martyrs - outstanding sons from 47 provinces and cities across the country, who were Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who fought and sacrificed in Laos.

Wishing the staff of the Cemetery Management Board a Happy New Year, the head of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the innovations in cemetery management work, and emphasized that in the coming time, each staff member and worker of the Cemetery Management Board must continue to devote much effort, affection, enthusiasm and concern to their duties to take care of the resting place for heroic martyrs to always be clean, beautiful and cozy.

Along with that, the unit needs to continue to organize well the activities of welcoming relatives and visiting delegations; actively apply information technology to enter data and look up information about heroic martyrs and their families.

The Management Board also needs to closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to carry out activities, thereby promoting the history, stature and significance of the Cemetery so that this place becomes a sacred red address to educate the tradition of patriotism for generations, marking the symbol of the great friendship between the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos. The border management station is over 19 km long, in charge of 2 border communes: Phuc Son (Anh Son) and Thanh Duc (Thanh Chuong), 5 border markers. The couple is living in a makeshift wooden house. Sharing the family's situation, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the local Party Committee, authorities, and Phuc Son Border Guard Station to coordinate with the family to build a house of gratitude for them in the near future.

The Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation also visited and wished a Happy New Year to the family of Mr. Bach Dinh Dung, 70 years old, in Veu 2 village, Phuc Son commune. He enlisted in the B battlefield to liberate the South and the K battlefield in Cambodia. In 1981, he was discharged from the army and returned to his hometown to start a family.

Currently, he is the village chief, a prestigious person in the community, a member of the District Fatherland Front Committee for the 2019-2024 term.

He and his family are exemplary citizens who strictly follow the Party's policies and the State's laws. Although he was injured in a work accident, he always actively participated in local activities.
