BIDV Nghe An organizes traditional meeting to celebrate 65th anniversary of establishment
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 2, in Vinh City, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Nghe An branch organized a traditional meeting to celebrate its 65th anniversary.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending were comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee; leaders of provincial departments and branches.

At the meeting, comrade Tran Minh Tinh - Party Secretary, Director of BIDV Nghe An reviewed the 65-year journey of building and growing the unit. On May 27, 1957, Nghe An Construction Bank was established, this is the predecessor of BIDV Nghe An.
Up to now, after 65 years of establishment and development, BIDV Nghe An has always accompanied the important tasks of Nghe An province and BIDV Vietnam. During its operation, with the attention and timely direction of all levels and sectors, along with the efforts of BIDV Nghe An, it has successfully completed its tasks and made many contributions to the socio-economic development of Nghe An province.

In recent times, BIDV Nghe An has made breakthrough changes with fundamental and substantial changes in mechanism, ownership, and full operation according to market principles, building a more mature and stronger BIDV Nghe An.
In the past 10 years, the average growth rate of the branch has achieved impressive numbers: Capital mobilization reached 18%; outstanding loans reached 23%; revenue and expenditure difference reached 24%; bad debt was controlled below 1%; is a special ranked branch of the system...
With 20 departments and 9 transaction offices, 190 qualified, dedicated and dynamic staff have provided comprehensive banking products and services to more than 170,000 individual customers and more than 3,000 corporate customers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements of BIDV Nghe An in the past time, and affirmed: Under the direction of the State Bank, the management of the Board of Directors of BIDV Vietnam, BIDV Nghe An will continue to promote the good tradition of great achievements over the past 65 years, overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully complete assigned tasks, become stronger and more mature in all aspects.
