Nghe An Border Guard temporarily detained 11 fishing boats illegally.
(Baonghean.vn) - Discovering 11 fishing boats violating legal regulations on vessel size and fishing range, the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station coordinated with the Nghe An Border Guard Squadron 2 to temporarily detain the vehicles.
At 8:00 a.m. on August 7, in the Cua Lo and Cua Hoi sea areas (near Hon Ngu Island), the patrol and control forces of the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station of Nghe An Border Guard, in coordination with Squadron 2, discovered 11 fishing vessels violating regulations on fishing.

Specifically, the violating vessels were 13 to 16 meters long, with a capacity of 110 to 380 CV. The owners of the vessels had permanent residence in Dien Ngoc and Dien Thanh communes, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province, and were illegally exploiting aquatic resources.
Currently, the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port is completing the documents and handling them according to the provisions of law.
