Quang Binh Border Guard Command visits and supports 2 families of sailors who died at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 17, the Quang Binh Border Guard Command and Gianh Port Border Guard Station visited Nghe An to visit and offer condolences to the families of two crew members who died in Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu).

At the families, representatives of the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard Command and Gianh Port Border Guard Station sent condolences to the relatives of the two families of the deceased crew members, Tran Van Thien (56 years old) and Dau Ngoc Cam (61 years old) and wished that their relatives would quickly overcome the pain to rise up in life.
On this occasion, the delegation supported 10 million VND for the relatives of the deceased crew members and 5 million VND for the relatives of the missing crew members.

Previously, the Quang Binh Border Guard Command had mobilized 2 ships, 1 boat with 26 officers and soldiers; 1 HT 90133 TS submersible and 2 Ha Tinh fishermen to the area where the ship sank to search for the victim's body. After more than 5 hours of searching, divers found the body of victim Tran Van Thien trapped in the ship's hold. Officers and soldiers of the 2 units of Squadron 2 and Gianh Port Border Guard Station used knives to cut the net rope and parachute wrapped around the victim's body, brought it ashore and carried out procedures to hand it over to the family.
As reported, on the morning of September 5,Fishing vessel with registration number NA93010 TSMr. Cao Van Y, Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu), was staying at Song Gianh port (Quang Binh) and was leaving the port to return to his hometown when the accident happened. At that time, there were 7 crew members on the ship, 5 of whom were fortunately rescued, including: Nguyen Van Thang (29 years old), Pham Van Hoang (26 years old), Le Van Chien, Ngo Van Xo (18 years old), Tran Van Cuong (16 years old). The bodies of 2 missing crew members were found, namely Tran Van Thien (56 years old); the remaining crew member Dau Ngoc Cam (deceased) has not been found yet.
