In 2024, Nghe An province was assigned by the Government and the Ministry of National Defense to call more than 3,250 citizens to join the Army, assigned to 13 military units (9 units of the Ministry and 4 units of Military Region 4). Up to now, Nghe An has finalized the number of soldiers and issued orders to call more than 3,400 citizens to join the Army (officially more than 3,250 citizens, reserve 164 citizens). Up to now, 100% of young men have been present in the locality and have received the call-up order, personal military equipment, and are ready to leave for military service.

Through the actual inspection, Colonel Dinh Bat Van requested agencies and units to closely follow the instructions and guidance of the Military Region 4 Command and the Provincial Military Command on the organization of the 2024 military enlistment ceremony on February 26; be proactive and carefully prepare from plans to ensure security and order; organization and logistics work to ensure quality and quantity as required. At the same time, further promote propaganda, dissemination and education to raise awareness and responsibility for implementing the Law on Military Service among the people, especially citizens of military age.
