(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 29, in Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district, the Military Command of Nghe An province held an inauguration ceremony and presented cultural and sports facilities to the people of Muong Hin village.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Sam Van Duyet - Standing Deputy Secretary of Que Phong District Party Committee; Lo Thi Nguyet - Vice Chairman of Que Phong District People's Committee; leaders of Que Phong District Military Command, Tien Phong commune and a large number of people from Muong Hin village.
Muong Hin is a poor village of Tien Phong commune. The village currently has 285 households with 1,750 people, of which the number of poor households accounts for 36.8%. People's lives depend on growing rice and harvesting forest products...
The cultural and sports project that the Provincial Military Command built and presented to the people of Muong Hin village is a volleyball court. The total value of construction materials is over 100 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command informed the villagers about some basic features of the political, socio-economic, defense and security situation of Nghe An province; as well as social security activities to help people and compatriots in difficult areas eliminate hunger and reduce poverty in the province.
In 2023, officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command also made many efforts, joining hands with the Party Committee, government and people of the province to support and help people develop the economy and production. The Provincial Military Command built and donated 25 houses to people in difficult circumstances; 2 volleyball courts for residential areas in special areas... In 2024, the Provincial Military Command plans to build about 30 houses to donate to the poor and people in difficult circumstances.
Sending New Year wishes to the people of Muong Hin village, Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command hopes that the people of Muong Hin village will continue to strive to develop their household economy, and soon eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.
At the ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Military Command and Que Phong district presented 20 gifts to poor households and families with children joining the army in 2024 in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 800,000 VND./.
