(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Nghe-Tinh Soviet Day, this morning (September 12), the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs of Nghe-Tinh Soviet 1930-1931.
Attending the incense offering and flower offering ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; officers and soldiers of the Vinh City Military Command and Regiment 764.

At the SquareNghe Tinh Soviet, Hung Nguyen district, the delegation of cadres and soldiers of Nghe An armed forces held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense at the graves and memorial house of the Soviet martyrs of Nghe - Tinh, expressing their respect, admiration and deep gratitude to the Soviet children and ancestors who heroically sacrificed in the revolutionary movement of 1930 - 1931 under the glorious flag of the Party.

On September 12, 1930, the demonstration of 8,000 farmers in Hung Nguyen district was suppressed by the French colonialists using heavy weapons and aircraft; 217 people fell, 125 were injured... The demonstration on September 12, 90 years ago, has gone down in history as an epic in the first chapter of the "golden history" of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
