Ministry of Public Security warns about tricks to cheat on exams and issue fake foreign language certificates
A company was not allowed to organize foreign language proficiency tests, but it still collected money from 140 participants.
The Security Investigation Agency (Ministry of Public Security) announced that the unit has discovered a group of people organizing exams to issue fake foreign language certificates for the purpose offraud of contestants
Specifically, on January 28, Nguyen Van Thuat(46 years old, Director of Dong Duong Human Resources Development Joint Stock Company) and Nguyen Thi Hanh (35 years old)) illegally organized exams to issue fake foreign language certificates to more than 140 candidates in Duc Thang ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi. This act was discovered by the Investigation Security Agency (Ministry of Public Security), who arrested Thuat and Hanh.
At the investigation agency, both confessed.does not have the function of organizing exams to issue European framework foreign language certificates but has forged documents linking with authorized facilities to entice candidates to pay exam fees, then issue fake certificates to them.
Outside of Hanoi, they organize exams and issue fake certificates in many provinces and cities.The case has been transferred to the Security Investigation Agency (Hanoi Police) for investigation.
