On July 8, the High-Tech Crime Prevention Police Department (C50), the Criminal Police Department (C45, Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to raid many locations and arrest a series of suspects in the online gambling ring led by Nguyen Minh Dat.
At the same time, other reconnaissance teams searched many places in Dong Nai, Hanoi... and arrested at least 10 people involved such as: Tran Thi Hong Trinh, Tran Dong Ca, Nguyen Nhu Hoang, Le Huu Long, Nguyen Minh Quang...

Authorities seized many exhibits, documents, tens of thousands of USD, Audi A8, Mazda CX6, Kia Sedona cars, many savings books worth more than 10 billion VND... believed to be related to gambling activities.
