The subject's name is Nguyen Trong Thanh (alias Thanh "Bo", 28 years old, from Thanh Hoa).

From the collected documents and evidence, the Criminal Police Department has established a special project to fight and clarify the activities of Thanh "Bo" gang.
According to the plan to solve the case, on September 13, hundreds of officers and soldiers of the Criminal Police Department and Ho Chi Minh City Police suddenly raided a house in Ward 12 (Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City).
Here, the police discovered more than 60 people participating in gambling. Through investigation and classification of the subjects, the police drew up a report and caught 38 subjects participating in organizing and gambling. The seized evidence included more than 300 million VND, along with 5 cars and dozens of motorbikes...
At the police station, Thanh confessed that he had organized this ring since the end of August 2018. Under Thanh “Bo” were also effective “juniors” including Pham Van Tung (alias Tung “Scar”, 45 years old, from Hai Phong) and Le Ba Son (44 years old, from Thanh Hoa).
Both of these subjects were responsible for organizing the gamblers to play dice and collect the money. In addition, Tung “Scar” was also directly responsible for lending hot money to the gamblers if they lost. All the hot money borrowed from the gamblers was recorded by Tung “Scar” in the books to report to Thanh “Bo”.
In order to avoid detection by the authorities, Thanh "Bo" assigned Tran Van Pho (27 years old, residing in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City) the task of finding locations to organize this gambling ring.
In less than half a month, the gambling ring led by Thanh “Bo” changed its location more than 4 times. When participating in the gambling ring, the gamblers were taken care of very carefully. Most of them were gamblers from the Northern and Southeastern provinces. To enter Thanh “Bo”’s casino, in addition to having to know each other in advance, the gamblers were also picked up and dropped off by Thanh “Bo”’s underlings to play.
Specifically, gamblers had to park their vehicles more than 1 kilometer away from Thanh “Bo”’s gambling location. From there, gamblers were taken to the gambling location by Thanh “Bo’s” “younger brothers” in private cars. The entrance to the casino was also strictly guarded by Thanh “Bo’s” “younger brothers”.
If they discover strangers, they will "threaten" them or deal with them in a "gangster" manner. Thanh "Bo" also confessed that the gamblers participating in the game are "protected" by the fact that if they lose, they will have fresh money and borrow money right on the gambling table.
Therefore, the gamblers became more enthusiastic about gambling. The total amount of money that Thanh “Bo” and his followers lent to the gamblers was more than 2.3 billion VND.
