Border guards bring Xa Doai oranges to Laos
(Baonghean.vn) - Bringing Xa Doai orange and mango varieties from Vietnam to Laos and helping local people build VAC models are the activities that officers and soldiers of Thong Thu Border Guard Station have been doing in recent years in Nam Tay village, part of Vieng Phan village cluster, Sam To district (Hua Phan province, Laos).

| Located across the border, Nam Tay village is a twinned residential area with Muong Phu village, Thong Thu commune (Que Phong). Nam Tay has an area of 387 hectares. This is home to 84 households with more than 570 people. The life of the nNam Tay people still have difficulties, their main economic method is collecting forest products and small-scale animal husbandry.
