(Baonghean.vn) - On November 1, Nghe An Border Guard units visited and gave gifts to flood victims in Thanh Chuong and overcame the consequences of landslides in mountainous districts.

November 1, CommandNghe An Border Guardled by Colonel Ho Huu Thang - Deputy Commander, in coordination with philanthropists, visited, encouraged, and gave hundreds of gifts to people isolated by floodwaters in Thanh Chuong district.

The delegation presented 260 gifts, including rice, daily necessities and cash with a total value of 110 million VND to people in the communes of Hanh Lam, Thanh Nho and Ngoc Son.Thanh Chuong districtThese are areas heavily damaged by floods.

Also on the morning of November 1, Na Loi Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to put up signs and dispatch forces to warn of landslides on the road from Na Loi commune to Dooc May commune, Ky Son district. At the same time, mobilized forces and vehicles to level and fix the landslides to ensure traffic was cleared by the afternoon of the same day.

In Anh Son district, the road from Veu 1 village to Cao Veu sub-border gate, Phuc Son commune, had landslides at 12 points, estimated at more than 1,000 m.3soil and rocks; Phuc Son Border Guard Station and the people actively overcome the consequences, ensuring the road is cleared in the shortest time.
