On August 29, there was heavy rain in My Ly commune, the Nam Non river rose. By the afternoon of August 30, floodwaters from upstream continued to pour in, causing flooding in many villages in My Ly commune, Ky Son district.
According to initial statistics, floodwaters have inundated 50 houses in the villages of Cha Nga, Xop Duong, Xieng Tren, Xieng Tam, Xop Tu, Yen Hoa, and Hoa Ly in My Ly commune.In which, Xop Tu village is deeply flooded, many houses are at risk of collapsing.

In order to avoid damage to people, My Ly Border Guard Station sent forces to coordinate with local authorities to urgently help people move their property, dismantle houses, and transport them to a safe place.
