Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarifies Trinh Xuan Thanh case and Vietnam-Germany relations
On November 8, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs released official information about the Trinh Xuan Thanh case as well as the current relationship between Vietnam and Germany.

At a regular press conference on November 8, answering questions from foreign reporters about the Trinh Xuan Thanh case and Vietnam-Germany relations, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to strengthening and developing good relations with Germany for the benefit of the people of both countries.
Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said that over the past time, the two sides have still had exchanges and contacts to promote relations between the two countries.
In response to rumors related to the Trinh Xuan Thanh case, spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang reaffirmed that Mr. Trinh Xuan Thanh has seriously violated Vietnamese law, was brought to public trial in accordance with Vietnamese law and is currently serving his sentence./.
