The Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security continue to promote coordination in various fields.

On the afternoon of July 11, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security held a conference to review the implementation results of Decree 77/2010/ND-CP dated July 12, 2010 of the Government in the first 6 months of 2019.

The conference was attended by delegates from ministries, central departments and branches and delegates at connecting points nationwide.

Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff, Deputy Minister of National Defense and Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security co-chaired the conference.

At the Nghe An provincial bridge, there were representatives of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard and the Provincial Police. Colonel Tran Van Hung, - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command and Colonel Le Khac Thuyet - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police co-chaired at the bridge.

In the first six months of 2019, under the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the Government, the Central Military Commission and the Central Public Security Party Committee, of Party committees and authorities at all levels, and with the support of all classes of people, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security have coordinated and seriously and effectively implemented Decree 77/2010/ND-CP of the Government and Joint Circular No. 07/2012/ND-CP of the two ministries.

In Nghe An province, the three forces of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, and Provincial Border Guard coordinated to exchange more than 800 pieces of information in the work of grasping, analyzing, and accurately forecasting the situation in the areas.

In particular, in border and island areas, the three forces of the Military, Police and Border Guard have coordinated to propagate the Party and State's guidelines and policies to the people, typically coordinating to propagate and mobilize 16 households with 55 Mong people to give up the intention of illegally migrating to Laos; coordinating to organize 444 patrols on the western border and the sea route with the participation of more than 2,163 officers and soldiers.

Thanks to close coordination in implementing Decree 77, in the first 6 months of the year, political security, order and social safety in Nghe An province were maintained, ensuring a stable environment favorable for socio-economic development.

The militia and police of Hung Dung ward, Vinh city agreed on a plan to coordinate to protect political security, order and social safety in the area.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang emphasized: “In the coming time, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security will continue to promote coordination in exchanging strategic information and unifying the assessment of the area.
