Russian General Staff cannot rule out new counterattack by Ukrainian Armed Forces
(Baonghean.vn) - In case Ukraine receives serious support from the West, Russia cannot rule out the possibility that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will organize a new counterattack, because Ukraine still maintains active combat capabilities.

According to RT news agency on February 19, the Director of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff, General Sergei Rudskoy, said that it is not excluded that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will launch a new counterattack with serious support from the West.
According to General Rudskoy, the Armed Forces of Ukraine maintain their combat capabilities to conduct active operations.
“In the near future, in the event of large-scale military support from the West, another counterattack attempt by Ukraine cannot be ruled out,” General Rudskoy said.
General Rudskoy added that NATO troops are participating in the fighting "under the cover of mercenaries", controlling tactical missile systems, MLRS and air defense systems in Ukraine.
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson emphasized that sending regular troops from other countries to Ukraine would push the world to the brink of a global conflict.
Most recently, on February 18, in a broadcast speech, President Putin said that the developments on the Ukrainian battlefield for the West were only an improvement in tactical position, but for Russia, Ukraine was a matter of "survival" and could decide Russia's fate./.
