Military Region 4 Command hands over Gratitude House to martyrs' relatives in Nam Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 25, the Military Region 4 Command held a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude to the family of Ms. Tran Thi Tu - a martyr's relative residing in Hamlet 1, Nam Thanh Commune, Nam Dan District.
Mrs. Tran Thi Tu (born in 1940), whose husband is Nguyen Van Nhi and younger brother is Tran Van Quang, both of whom were martyrs who died in the war against the US. Over the years, Mrs. Tu has lived alone, worshiping her husband and younger brother in a dilapidated house that is unsafe during heavy rains and storms.

After more than 2 months of urgent construction, the house has been completed and put into use with an area of 54m2.2The total construction cost is more than 93 million VND, of which the Military Region 4 Command supported 80 million VND, the rest was supported and donated by local authorities and relatives.

At the handover ceremony of the gratitude house, representatives of units: Provincial Military Command, Nam Dan District Military Command and representatives of Vien Quang Pagoda presented many gifts to Ms. Tran Thi Tu.
This is an activity with noble humanitarian meaning, helping martyrs' relatives to reduce difficulties, stabilize their lives, demonstrating the moral meaning of "When drinking water, remember its source" towards the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day./.
