Dismantling a transnational drug trafficking ring, seizing 1 kg of crystal meth
(Baonghean.vn) - A subject in a transnational drug trafficking and transportation ring used a motorbike to "cut through the forest" and bring a large amount of crystal meth downstream for consumption. Thanh Chuong District Police deployed forces to catch him red-handed.
On June 18, Thanh Chuong District Police in coordination with Thanh Thuy Border Guard reconnaissance discovered and arrested a subject who was illegally transporting 1 kg of crystal meth from Laos.

Previously, through professional work, Thanh Chuong District Police discovered that in the border area between Thanh Chuong District and Anh Son District, there were a number of subjects colluding with Lao people to organize the illegal buying, selling and transporting of drugs across the country from Laos to Nghe An, so they established a special project to fight.
During the investigation and verification process, on June 18, the Task Force determined that the subject in the task force would transport drugs from the Vietnam - Laos border area to the interior for consumption. The Task Force decided to crack the case.

At 12:30 on June 18, in Khe Tray hamlet, Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district, the Special Task Force coordinated with Thanh Thuy Border Guard reconnaissance forces to monitor, ambush and successfully arrest Tran Dinh Luyen (born in 1970), residing in hamlet 8, Linh Son commune (Anh Son), seizing 1 kg of synthetic drugs and 1 motorbike.
The investigation is currently continuing.
