Plastic wrap for bare electric wires on electric poles and trees in Yen Thanh

(Baonghean.vn) – To avoid unfortunate accidents to exposed electric wires on tree poles, ElectricityYen Thanh (Nghe An) has temporarily fixed the problem by replacing the plastic-coated wire.

After Nghe An Electronic Newspaper reported on the current situation of bare electric wires on electric poles and trees, Yen Thanh Electricity promptly fixed the problem, avoiding accidents before the rainy season.

The work of covering the bare wires on the electric poles and trees with plastic is being carried out urgently. However, replacing the electric poles with concrete will take time.

Mr. Ho Sy Vinh - Director of Yen Thanh Electricity said: Every year, the electricity company also deploys anti-overload packages to meet people's electricity needs, but due to limited capital, it has not been able to invest in a synchronous power grid system.

According to statistics, Yen Thanh district currently has more than 1,000 km of 0.4 KV power lines, of which only 300 km of power grid lines are covered wires, the remaining 700 km of bare power lines are not covered wires.

In the district, the 0.4 KV power line has been used for too long and has degraded, the wires are loose and broken in many places, so the power source is not guaranteed for people's daily life and production, causing power loss. The communes with the most 0.4 KV power lines are Khanh Thanh, Lien Thanh, My Thanh, Phuc Thanh, Hong Thanh. Not to mention that there are nearly 2,000 seriously damaged power poles, the system of beams and porcelain has been degraded and must be replaced.
