Agencies and units give Tet gifts to the poor and excellent students
(Baonghean.vn)- On January 17, agencies and units in the province continued to organize gift giving to poor families and excellent students on the occasion of Lunar New Year.
At Que Phong:Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper organized a Tet gift giving ceremony and awarded Vu A Dinh scholarships to students and poor people in Que Phong district with the theme "Sharing Tet, warm spring".
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Tran Chau - Permanent Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper, Deputy Director of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, along with the working delegation and leaders of Que Phong District People's Committee.

Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam was established in 1999. After 18 years of companionship, it has become a great and trusted friend of the young generation of ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017, Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper and its sponsors presented 30 Vu A Dinh scholarships to 30 students with especially difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies. Each scholarship is worth 800,000 VND.
On this occasion, Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper and sponsors Phuc Nguyen Company and But Son Cement Company also presented 700 gifts in kind, each worth 300,000 VND, to the poor people of Que Phong district./.

At hamlet 6, Thanh Nho commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ly and Mother Nguyen Thi Vuong. The delegation also visited Mother Dang Thi Uyen in Cat Van commune, who is over 90 years old this year. These are Heroic Mothers that the Corporation has adopted to take care of. Next, the delegation also went to burn incense for Mother Tran Thi Vuong who passed away more than a month ago.
On this occasion, CTGT 4 Corporation gave each mother 8 million VND in support money for the first quarter of 2017. Here, the Corporation's leaders hoped that the mothers would live long and healthy lives, and be exemplary examples for their children and grandchildren to follow.

On the morning of January 17, Quynh Luu District Labor Federationheld a conference to summarize union activities in 2016 and deploy directions and tasks for 2017.
Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Tu Phuong - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation.
Quynh Luu district has 163 grassroots trade unions with 5,530 workers and employees, of which the total number of union members is 5,442 people. In 2016, the district's Labor Federation directed the effective implementation of the resolution of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on innovation, improving the quality of negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements.

The District Labor Federation has called on unions at all levels and union members to support more than 1 billion VND for Tet for the poor. During the Lunar New Year, 45 gifts were given to union members in especially difficult circumstances with the amount of 15.9 million VND. In addition, it mobilized contributions to the union's warm roof fund, which received more than 45 million VND to support union members with housing difficulties.
On this occasion, 4 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 1 collective was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Provincial Confederation of Labor; 5 collectives and 8 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Confederation of Labor, 33 collectives and 58 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the District Confederation of Labor.

At the conference, the District Labor Federation launched the 2017 emulation movement with the theme "Year for the benefit of union members" and presented 10 Tet gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to union members in especially difficult circumstances./.

On the morning of January 17, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station led a working delegation to visit and give gifts to policy families, poor households, and students of schools in Huoi Tu commune (Ky Son) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017.
Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Nghe An Investment and Development Bank, Muong Thanh Group, the District People's Committee and leaders of the Ky Son Department of Education and Training. The delegation directly presented 220 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to 220 households with especially difficult circumstances in 13 villages of Huoi Tu commune.
