Localities in Nghe An resolutely clear traffic corridors

Que Phong DistrictOn the morning of January 8, a ceremony was held to launch the traffic corridor clearance campaign before, during and after the 2020 Lunar New Year.

After the launching ceremony, all communes and towns in the district seriously carried out traffic corridor clearance, in order to restore order and traffic safety corridors, ensuring the maintenance of clear roads and sidewalks, and urban beautification in the area.

During this campaign, the District Traffic Safety Committee and localities propagated to people to strictly comply with the Law on Road and Waterway Traffic, especially not driving after drinking alcohol, according to Decree 100/2010 of the Government on regulations on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road and railway traffic.

In Dien Chau districtis also resolutely clearing traffic corridors. In 2019, Dien Chau district organized 3 campaigns to clear traffic safety corridors, 45 solid kiosks, more than 2,500 umbrellas, billboards, 2,500 m3 of materials, other architectural objects... encroaching and re-encroaching on traffic safety corridors were dismantled and cleared.

During this pre-Tet period, 39 communes and towns in Dien Chau district actively launched campaigns to clear traffic safety corridor violations to ensure clear roads and reduce congestion during Tet.

However, there are still many violations of traffic safety corridors such as in the town area, the situation of car washes is still on the roadway, sidewalk. In Dien Tho, Dien Thinh, Dien Yen, Dien Bich, Dien Trung... the situation of advertising signs and goods of traders gathering on the road is common. Checking 3 projects under construction, there are almost no barriers, signs, warning signs, signal lights causing traffic safety problems.

In Tan Ky,The district's traffic safety committee is coordinating with 22 communes and towns to organize a campaign to clear traffic safety corridors before, during, and after the 2020 Lunar New Year. The time starts from December 27, 2019.

In this campaign, the locality and relevant agencies have mobilized maximum forces and means to propagate, detect, and resolutely and completely eliminate violations of encroachment and re-encroachment of sidewalks, roadsides, and curbs.

The People's Committee of Tan Ky town alone reminded 67 business households to remove their umbrellas and tarpaulins; made a record and confiscated 21 advertising signs encroaching on traffic corridors./.
