Organizations support people in Ky Son and Con Cuong to overcome flood consequences

Central Organizing Committee Trade Union, Youth Union of National Printing Factory, Youth Union of Vietnam Television, Viet Optical Fiber Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Mon Son Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) organized the program "Towards the Central region". The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Deputy Director of Internal Political Protection Department - Central Organizing Committee.

The program presented necessities to 234 households and nearly 190 preschool and primary school students of the Dan Lai ethnic minority in Bung and Co Phat villages, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district. The gifts included rice, instant noodles, blankets, warm clothes, books, notebooks... with a total value of about 250 million VND.

The meaningful gifts will contribute to supporting and encouraging people and students at the Khe Khang source to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Continuing the relief program for flood victims in Ky Son,networkNational Volunteer Network, under the Central Youth Union's National Volunteer Center, in coordination with the Nghe An Provincial Police Trade Union, organized a gift-giving program for poor people in cluster 2 of Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district.

Cluster 2 of Bao Nam commune, including Phia Khoang, Huoi Lau, Khe Nap and Sa Long villages, is home to nearly 300 Khmu households. The lives of the people in the villages are facing many difficulties, especially due to the recent floods and landslides. The villages have been isolated for many days due to flash floods and landslides.

In order to share the difficulties of the people and students here, the delegation gave 145 sets of warm clothes to preschool students in Bao Nam commune; gave 220 sets of warm uniforms... along with necessities, milk, candy to students of Bao Nam 2 Primary School; gave funding to raise disadvantaged students under the "Nuoi Em" Program implemented by the National Volunteer Network for many years in Nghe An.

The delegation also presented 270 gifts, including warm blankets, necessities and cash worth from 200,000 - 500,000 VND to households in 4 inner cluster villages of Bao Nam commune.
