Currently, Con Cuong has 310 hectares of oranges. In early 2017, people planted 54 hectares. In addition to the Van Du and Xa Doai orange varieties with yellow flesh, in recent years, many households have also planted the BH variety. With the introduction of early and late ripening varieties, the Con Cuong orange harvest season is longer, from the end of September of the previous year to February and March of the following year.

The district encourages households to cooperate in production and establish orange production cooperatives; calls for investment to develop a project to develop oranges with the district's brand.
