The funds for the well's renovation (over 1 billion VND) were raised from contributions by local residents, philanthropists, and descendants of Duong Lieu village living and working throughout the country. The well was meticulously designed and constructed on an area of 1,216 m2, with the well itself occupying 796 m2, primarily using blue stone. The well's base has a diameter of 9 m, and its mouth has a diameter of 16 m. The well has a single access point on the east side, bordered by two pillars adorned with beautifully carved dragons. To protect the village well, local residents erected a sign reading "Dong Son Well Regulations" near the entrance, with rules such as strictly prohibiting littering into the well, and forbidding children from swimming or washing clothes in the well. The well is surrounded by a wall and has a gate, planted with ornamental trees and fitted with many stone benches for people to relax. (Photo: Huy Thu)
