Nghe Tinh Port to start production in early 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 1, 2023, a 10,000-ton ship from Saigon Port docked, carrying the first ton of cargo from Nghe Tinh Port to its partners. This is an event associated with the Port's first production launch of the year.
Attending the New Year production launch ceremony were Mr. Le Doan Long - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Bui Kieu Hung - General Director of Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company, along with leaders, former leaders of Nghe Tinh Port and all officers and employees of Nghe Tinh Port, Port Authority, Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port.

In 2022, despite many difficulties, the staff and workers of Nghe Tinh Port have made continuous efforts to find sources of goods and customers, create jobs for nearly 500 employees of the unit and release goods in the area, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
The output of goods in 2022 is expected to reach 4,359,648 tons, reaching 106.3% of the plan. Of which: exported goods reached 1,048,447 tons, reaching 104.84% of the plan; transit goods reached 449,629 tons, reaching 160.58% of the plan; imported goods reached 726,444 tons, reaching 117.17% of the plan; domestic goods reached 2,135,128 tons, reaching 97.05% of the plan; container goods reached 555,365 tons, reaching 73.73% of the plan.
In 2022, the Port has fully paid the budget to the State as prescribed. Pre-tax profit is expected to reach 19 billion VND, reaching 118.75% of the plan.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Le Doan Long - Chairman of the Board of Directors sincerely thanked the efforts and responsibility of the staff and workers over the past year; presented flowers and gifts to units and individuals of Cua Lo Port Unloading Enterprise, Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station.
