According to the latest news received this morning (September 15) from the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, currently, the water level on Thanh Hoa and Nghe An rivers is changing slowly; Ha Tinh rivers are rising slowly and are at low levels.
Forecast:During the day and night of September 15, in the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh, there will be heavy to very heavy rain. Rainfall is likely to reach: Northern Nghe An and Thanh Hoa: 50 - 100 mm; Southern Nghe An and Ha Tinh: 100 - 250 mm, in Ha Tinh in some places over 300 mm. Disaster risk level: Level 1 - 2.
From September 15 to 17, there will be a flood on rivers from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh. During this flood, the water level on the main rivers in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will be below the BĐI level, the small rivers and La River (Ha Tinh) will be above the BĐI level; Ngan Sau and Ngan Pho Rivers (Ha Tinh) are likely to be at BĐII - BĐIII levels. Disaster risk level: Level 1.
Warning:There is a high risk of flash floods, landslides, and localized flooding in the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh. Especially in the districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, and Con Cuong (Nghe An). There is a high risk of flooding in Vinh City (Nghe An). Disaster risk level: Level 1 - 2.
