Dien Chau Charity Club supports people in Lao Cai flood area with 350 million VND
Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, many shipments have arrived for people in the flooded areas of Lao Cai.
In order to share and support people affected by storm No. 3, on September 21, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society - Dien Chau District Volunteer Club traveled hundreds of kilometers to the flooded area of A Lu commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province to visit, encourage and give gifts to the people here (including 80 million VND in cash; 270 million VND in goods).


Mr. Dau Quang Trung - Deputy of Communications Department of Dien Chau Charity Club shared that after launching a campaign to support people in the northern provinces affected by floods, this is the second time the club has received a lot of love and sharing from many officials and people.
All goods and necessities to support people in flood-hit areas this time include: roasted dried fish, peanuts, cooking oil, rice, powdered milk, fresh milk, filtered water, instant noodles, moon cakes, cotton blankets, warm clothes (new)... Total value 350 million VND.


This is a practical and meaningful activity of the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society and the Dien Chau District Volunteer Club, contributing to supporting flood victims in A Lu Commune, Bat Xat District, Lao Cai District to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.
