(Baonghean.vn) - The Investigation Police Agency of Dien Chau District Police has just issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Nguyen Van Thang and Cao Van Hai for transporting and storing prohibited goods; Nguyen Thi Huong for trading in prohibited goods.

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Dien Chau District Police discovered a ring of illegal transportation of firecrackers from Quang Tri to Dien Chau District for consumption. In which, 2 subjects Nguyen Van Thang (born in 1996), residing in Xuan Nho hamlet, Dien Loc commune, Dien Chau district and Cao Van Hai (born in 1995), residing in block 5, Dien Chau town, Dien Chau district are important links in this ring.

Faced with that situation, Dien Chau District Police established a special project. Using professional measures, on September 28, on National Highway 1A, in Dien An Commune, Dien Chau District, Dien Chau District Police coordinated with a number of functional units to arrest two subjects Nguyen Van Thang and Cao Van Hai for transporting and storing prohibited goods; confiscated 98kg of firecrackers from their vehicle.

Expanding the investigation, at about 10:30 p.m. the same day, the Special Task Force made an emergency arrest of Nguyen Thi Huong (born in 1989), residing in Hoa Nam village, Vinh Long commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province, for trading in prohibited goods, seizing 65kg of firecrackers.

At the Investigation Police Agency of Dien Chau District Police, the three suspects Thang, Hai and Huong confessed to all their crimes.

Currently, Dien Chau District Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case.
