Pine forest fire in Dien Chau district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of June 26, a pine forest fire broke out in the Chin Cuc mountain area, hamlet 6, Dien Loi commune (Dien Chau).

At around 3:30 a.m. on June 26, a fire broke out in Ru Bac, Son Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh), and was extinguished by authorities at around 6 p.m. the same day. However, due to high temperatures and strong southwest winds, the fire flared up and spread to Nghi Van Commune (Nghi Loc) and Dien Loi Commune (Dien Chau).
When the fire broke out, Dien Chau district authorities mobilized district police, district military agencies, local militia and hundreds of people to the scene in Chin Cuc mountain area, Dien Loi commune to put out the fire.

However, due to the rugged terrain, dense vegetation, and strong southwest winds, the forest fire flared up violently, with high columns of fire, making firefighting extremely difficult.
At noon on June 27, the forest fire in Dien Loi commune had not been extinguished yet, and there was a high risk of it spreading to Dien Phu commune.
Currently, functional forces including police, army, forest rangers… are still actively putting out the fire.
