In recent years, the situation of aquatic exploitation in rivers and lakes has become complicated; overexploitation and destructive exploitation such as exploitation by explosives, electric shocks, etc. are still occurring, significantly reducing the volume and species of aquatic products in nature, leading to a significant decline in aquatic resources in natural waters. The implementation of protection, restoration and regeneration of aquatic resources in rivers, streams and reservoirs in the province is an urgent issue, to maintain and stabilize the number of aquatic species as well as the annual aquatic output, contributing to improving life.
Previously, on October 20, 2019, Nghe An Fisheries Sub-Department coordinated with the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province to organize a festival to propagate and release shrimp to restore aquatic resources on the coast of Quynh Long commune, with 416,000 post 12 - post 15 shrimp.
