Commander of Nghe An Provincial Military Command joins the Great Unity Festival with the people of Thong Thu commune
On the morning of November 8, Ang Dua village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district organized the National Great Unity Day and the Ceremony to announce the Decision to recognize the village as meeting new rural standards in 2024.

Attending the festival with the people of Ang Dua village, Thong Thu commune, were comrades: Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Truong Minh Cuong - Secretary of Que Phong District Party Committee; representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.
Ang Dua village has 120 households, with 526 people, belonging to 2 ethnic groups Thai and Kinh, of which Thai people account for 99.62%.

The village Party Committee and Party cell have done a good job of leading, directing, and mobilizing people to promote resources, focus on economic development, gradually eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and stabilize life. Ang Dua villagers have always promoted the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and helped each other in economic development, practiced a civilized lifestyle, and fought against social evils.
In economic development, Ang Dua village has strengthened the care, protection, conservation, development and effective exploitation of medicinal plants under the forest canopy; promoted livestock and poultry farming; developed fish farming in ponds and lakes. At this time, nearly 70% of the village's households raise buffalo and cows with a total herd of 318 heads; 40 fish cages.

People are always interested in preserving and promoting national cultural identity. Building cultural, artistic and sports movements with many exciting activities. The quality of cultural families is constantly improving.
In 2024, the village had 109 households achieving the title of Cultural Family, accounting for 90.83%... In the village, the work of encouraging learning and talent is taken care of. 100% of children go to school at the right age; no children drop out of school; 100% of children are fully vaccinated.

Over the years, the people of Ang Dua village have actively participated in the movement of the whole people to protect the national security and national defense. Here, political security and social order and safety are maintained. Conflicts arising among the people are promptly resolved. The village has no drug addicts or drug dens, gambling, prostitution...
To carry out the new rural construction, last year, the villagers contributed more than 300 working days and more than 250 million VND to build the works.

Speaking at the festival, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command acknowledged and commended the efforts and achievements in socio-economic development and new rural construction of the people of Ang Dua village.
The Commander of the Provincial Military Command suggested: In the coming time, the cadres and people of the village continue to promote the potential and advantages of the locality to develop the socio-economy, improve people's lives; pay attention to preserving and promoting national cultural identity, contributing to promoting the development of eco-tourism and community tourism.

The Party Committee, Party Cell, Front Working Committee and the mass organizations of Ang Dua village have done a good job of educating and propagating the Party's policies, the State's laws and policies, local regulations, and village conventions and covenants. Each cadre, Party member, union member and association member must be a leading propagandist, exemplary in mobilizing people to unite and build a cultural life.
Party cells need to promote their leadership role. The Front and its member organizations continue to innovate their activities to attract members to participate.
In the immediate future, it is necessary to well organize the implementation of the remaining goals and targets for 2024; focus on doing well the preparation work for Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
