Excited spirit, ready to wait for the day of battle

The 2022 season marks a dramatic change forSLNASince the new sponsor took over the team, Nghe An Club has made a strong investment, thereby retaining a series of key players in the squad. These include players such as Van Duc, Xuan Manh, etc. In addition, the Club also brought in Vietnamese football blockbusters such as Que Ngoc Hai, Trong Hoang, Tran Dinh Hoang, etc.

With the stars currently present at SLNA, the Vinh team promises to have a completely different face compared to the past seasons. Proof of that is a series of internal matches before the new season, the main squad of the Nghe team has shown a smooth, coherent and effective playing style.

To achieve these things, in addition to adding a series of quality players, we must also mention the hard work and perseverance of the club's coaching staff over many months.

CoachNguyen Huy Hoangshared: “All preparations in terms of force, expertise, and spirit for the 2022 season have been completed. We would like to affirm that SLNA Club is ready to enter the new season with the highest determination and goals in each match, striving to complete the target set by the team's Board of Directors to be in the top 3 teams of the 2022 V.League National Championship. In which, the highest and most meaningful goal that we set for each SLNA member is to practice and compete with all our might with an honest, noble spirit, not arrogant in victory, not discouraged in defeat, thereby further arousing SLNA pride in generations of SLNA players as well as the team's beloved fans”.

Unlike previous seasons, SLNA Club no longer has to face the situation of "bleeding" its force. Players such as Van Duc and Xuan Manh have agreed to sign contract extensions with the Club to continue their long-term association with the yellow team.

After returning from the national team, both are gaining confidence and an excited spirit to look forward to the challenging matches ahead. Xuan Manh shared: “With the return of the famous seniors, I feel very proud to wear the yellow shirt, a shirt with its own identity that cannot be mixed with any other club, I am very confident to continue to contribute to the team I love. With the philosophy of "steel spirit, beautiful victory" that the club is building, it has brought Manh an excited spirit, efforts in training and competing towards victories in the new season".

Determined to bring fans' love back to Vinh Stadium

In this 2022 season, Nghe An Club witnessed famous players from many other clubs returning to help their hometown team regain its position, as well as the expectations of fans.

Trong Hoang, who grew up from the SLNA football training center, after a long time fighting in the top clubs of Vietnam, he returned to SLNA. In the past, this winger helped the Vinh team win the National Championship in 2011, after that he won many other championships with the top clubs in the country. He is an irreplaceable link in the Vietnam national team.

However, injury has forced Trong Hoang to miss some important matches of the national team recently. Now his recovery is showing positive signs and he is completely confident about the day he returns to contribute to his hometown team.

Trong Hoang shared: “My injury has made positive progress. I am confident that I will return to compete for SLNA as soon as possible. On this return to SLNA, Hoang has a lot of emotions, because SLNA is not only the place where I am playing, but it is also the pride of my hometown, the home, the family that I have been attached to since childhood. Therefore, wearing the familiar yellow shirt is an honor, pride, happiness, a closeness that cannot be found anywhere else. I will bring all the experience I have to contribute with the young players, completing the goals set by the SLNA coaching board in the 2022 season.”

In this new season, the club will have the contribution of many famous players, along with a new playing style. This will be one of the positive signals to attract the audience to cheer for the team with the most tradition in Vietnam.

Que Ngoc Hai confided: “After returning from the national team to practice with SLNA, Hai feels that the players in the club are very eager and ready to prepare for the upcoming goals. We will compete with all our heart to bring the love of Nghe An fans back to Vinh Stadium. This year's team aims to be in the top 3 and we will try our best to practice and compete to make that goal come true.”

We will unite together, quickly integrate into the team's common playing style, to work towards a strong SLNA team, meeting the expectations of provincial leaders, corporations and SLNA fans across the country.”
