On the afternoon of August 11, Nghe An recorded 14 cases of Covid-19 infection, all of which were quarantined in advance.

On the afternoon of August 11, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed:In the past 12 hours (from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on August 11), Nghe An recorded 14 new positive cases of Covid-19.

All 14 new Covid-19 cases are citizens returning from southern epidemic provinces, including:

1. Patient NAT, male, born in 1999. Occupation: Worker. Address: Dien Ngoc, Dien Chau. On August 3, the patient traveled from Binh Phuoc to Dien Chau. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Dien Ngoc Kindergarten, tested 4 times, the 4th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. Patient P.D.L, male, born in 2016. Address: Duc Son, Anh Son. On August 5, the patient and his family returned to Nghe An from Ho Chi Minh City, were quarantined at Vinh University, Campus 2, and the first sample taken by CDC was negative. On August 9, the patient took a second sample and the result was suspicious. On the evening of August 10, the patient took a third sample, and on the morning of August 11, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. Patient CTA, female, born in 1995. Address: Dien Truong, Dien Chau. The patient is F1 of the previously announced TTB patient. On August 7, the patient returned to Nghe An from Ho Chi Minh City, was quarantined at Vinh University, Campus 2, and the first sample taken by CDC was negative. On the evening of August 10, the second sample was taken, and on the morning of August 11, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. Patient LTTT, female, born in 2020. Address: Duc Son, Anh Son. The patient is F1 and is the child of patient TTB. On August 7, the patient and her family returned to Nghe An from Ho Chi Minh City, were quarantined at Vinh University, Campus 2, and the first sample taken by CDC was negative. On the evening of August 10, the second sample was taken, and on the morning of August 11, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

5. Patient NTP, female, born in 1992. Address: Dien Ngoc, Dien Chau. On August 9, the patient and her family returned to Nghe An from Ho Chi Minh City, were quarantined at Vinh University, Campus 2, and the first sample taken by CDC was suspicious. On the evening of August 10, the second sample was taken, and on the morning of August 11, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

6. Patient NAT, female, born in 2021. Address: Dien Ngoc, Dien Chau. The patient is the child of patient NTP who was announced at the same time. On August 9, the patient and her family returned to Nghe An from Ho Chi Minh City, were quarantined at Vinh University, Campus 2, and the first sample taken by CDC was suspicious. On the evening of August 10, the second sample was taken, and on August 11, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

7. Patient VLQ, male, born in 1977. Address: Quynh Thien Ward, Hoang Mai Town. The patient is F1 of patient NXĐ who was previously announced. On August 9, the patient traveled from Dong Nai to Hoang Mai. On August 11, he was quarantined at Quynh Thien Medical Center and had his sample taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the same day, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

8. Patient HYM, female, born in 1980. Address: Muong Long, Ky Son. The patient is F1 and is the wife of patient V.CT. On August 3, the patient traveled from Binh Duong to Ky Son, was tested 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

9. Patient LVT, male, born in 1992. Address: Bac Son, Quy Hop. On August 3, the patient traveled from Binh Duong to Quy Hop, was quarantined at Chau Son Primary School, had samples taken for testing 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

10. Patient CVH, male, born in 1994. Address: Dien Trung, Dien Chau. On August 6, the patient traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to Dien Chau, was quarantined at Dien Trung Kindergarten, had samples taken for testing 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

11. Patient LBC, male, born in 1997. Address: Nam Can, Ky Son. On August 3, the patient traveled from Binh Duong to Ky Son, was quarantined at Nam Can Secondary School, had samples taken for testing 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

12. Patient LYL, male, born in 2002. Address: Nam Can, Ky Son. On August 3, the patient traveled from Binh Duong to Ky Son, was quarantined at Nam Can Secondary School, had samples taken for testing 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

13. Patient D.TC, male, born in 2003. Address: Lang Thanh, Yen Thanh. On August 3, the patient traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to Yen Thanh, was quarantined at Lang Thanh Secondary School, had samples taken 4 times, the 4th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

14. Patient NVQ, male, born in 1995. Address: Nghi Long, Nghi Loc. On August 5, the patient traveled from Binh Duong to Nghi Loc, was quarantined at Nghi Long Kindergarten, had samples taken 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Thus, up to now, the province has recorded 442 Covid-19 patients in 19 localities: Quynh Luu: 106, Vinh City: 101, Yen Thanh: 46, Tuong Duong: 29, Dien Chau: 30, Ky Son: 26, Nghi Loc: 17, Hoang Mai: 15, Anh Son: 11, Que Phong: 11, Nam Dan: 10, Do Luong: 08, Quy Hop: 08, Thanh Chuong: 07, Nghia Dan: 04, Tan Ky: 04, Con Cuong: 04, Hung Nguyen: 03, Cua Lo: 02.
