(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, the province has recorded 349 Covid-19 patients. Of which, 87 cases are related to the outbreak at Minh An General Hospital; 95 cases are related to cases from the southern provinces coming to Nghe An.
On the afternoon of August 7, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed: In the past 12 hours (from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 7),Nghe Anrecorded 1 new positive case of Covid-19.

New cases of infection arePatient D.VT, male, born in 1996Address: Dao My hamlet, Nhan Son commune, Do Luong district. On August 5, the patient traveled from Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province to the district.Do Luongby private vehicle and was quarantined at Nhan Son Secondary School. On August 6, the patient had his first sample taken and sent to Nghe An CDC, on August 7 the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The cumulative number of patients who have been cured, discharged, and transferred to higher levels is 172. The cumulative number of patients who have died is 01. The number of patients currently being treated is 176.
Regarding the outbreak at Minh An General Hospital, from July 26 to now, there have been 87 cases in 2 districts, including: Quynh Luu: 78 cases (in 10 communes); Hoang Mai: 09 cases (in 02 communes).
Regarding cases from the Southern provinces returning to Nghe An since the beginning of the epidemic season until now, there have been 95 recorded cases, including 34 cases returning from Ho Chi Minh City; 50 cases returning from Binh Duong; 02 cases returning from Dong Nai; 09 long-distance drivers passing through (Can Tho: 02, Ho Chi Minh City: 01, Kon Tum: 01, Binh Dinh: 01, Da Nang: 01, Quang Ngai: 02, Thua Thien Hue: 01)./.
