Yesterday, October 24, opening the personnel work, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said that due to work requirements, the Politburo assigned Mr. Truong Quang Nghia - Minister of Transport to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.
"The Politburo agreed to let Mr. Phan Van Sau resign from the position of Government Inspector General to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee for the 2016-2020 term," Ms. Ngan said.
The current leadership of the Ministry of Transport, in addition to Minister Truong Quang Nghia, includes four deputy ministers, but none of them are members of the 12th Party Central Committee. Among the leaders of the Ministry from the previous term who have been transferred to other positions is Mr. Nguyen Van The - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee.
