Due to complex weather conditions and cold weather, this crop requires high technical requirements. In addition to stocking at a lower density than the main crop, farmers also pay attention to care, especially periodic probiotic treatment, and supplementing nutrients to increase shrimp resistance...
The shrimp area for the third crop is mainly concentrated in the communes of Quynh Bang, Quynh Thanh, Quynh Luong, and Quynh Minh.
The third crop of shrimp is expected to be harvested at the end of December 2018, about 1 month later than the main crop, but the shrimp is easier to consume and has higher economic value.

Only households with sufficient conditions of high ponds, not flooded, and guaranteed infrastructure can raise shrimp; when the time comes, they should harvest early to avoid being swept away by high water.
