While transporting tourists sightseeing on the Han River, the Thao Van 2 ship with registration number DNa 0016 sank, killing 3 people.
Regarding the sinking of a boat on the Han River that killed three people, on the afternoon of June 6, Da Nang City Police issued a decision to initiate criminal proceedings under Clause 3, Article 212 of the Penal Code to serve the investigation.
Da Nang City Police also examined the fishing boat to strengthen the case file.

As reported, on the evening of June 4, while transporting tourists to sightsee on the Han River, the Thao Van 2 boat with registration number DNa 0016 sank. At that time, there were 56 people on board, including 53 tourists, 3 boat drivers and service staff.
The sinking killed three people, including two children. The fishing boat was inspected but not licensed to transport tourists, and was carrying twice the number of people allowed.
Colonel Tran Muu, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police, emphasized: "This afternoon, the Investigation Agency issued a Decision to initiate criminal proceedings under Clause 3, Article 212 to conduct an investigation and prove the related crimes with the spirit of urgency, determination, and to the end to soon bring the case to trial"./.
