It is known that the investment project to move and upgrade the sectionCau Dau dikein Do Luong district, invested in the form of a build-transfer (BT) contract, approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in Decision No. 5924/QD.UBND-NN dated December 8, 2010, by Lam Son Construction - General Services Joint Stock Company as the investor with a total investment value of 92 billion VND.

After the project's new flood-prevention dike was completed, nearly 1,800 meters long, 6 meters wide, paved with crushed stone, and covered with grass on both sides, in 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development allowed the Investment Project to move and upgrade the Cau Dau dike section to dismantle the old Cau Dau dike with a length of nearly 1.4 km.

The representative of the winning bidder, Lam Son Construction - General Service Joint Stock Company, committed to the People's Committee of Do Luong district to complete the dismantling of the dike within 60 days as planned.
