Attending the meeting were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Election Committee: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee who are members of the Provincial Election Committee: Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and a number of provincial departments, branches and organizations.

The work of posting the official list and brief biographies of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels must be in accordance with the prescribed timeline and without errors.

Regarding complaints and denunciations about elections, up to now, the Provincial Election Committee has received 3 petitions, including 2 petitions related to candidates for People's Council deputies at the commune level and 1 petition related to candidates for People's Council deputies at the district level.
At the district level, 4 petitions were received relating to candidates for district People's Council deputies and at the commune level, 54 petitions were received relating to candidates for commune People's Council deputies. The petitions were resolved by all levels in accordance with the law.

In particular, in the face of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Provincial Election Committee has promptly directed and guided the implementation of election preparation work in a flexible and creative manner; The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province has also issued an official dispatch adjusting the schedule of meeting voters and election campaigns of candidates for the 15th National Assembly and candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee emphasized that there is not much time left from now until the election day and in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, he requested the members of the Election Committee to strengthen, focus on directing, and include in the work program the inspection of the second round of election work, and move to an appropriate state, because if not inspected, it can easily lead to negligence, negligence, and subjectivity at the grassroots level.
Localities are required to continue reviewing the preparation and posting of voter lists in accordance with the law. In organizing meetings to meet voters and campaign for elections, it is necessary to ensure democracy, equality and safety in the context of the epidemic.

Focus on printing, receiving documents and ballots to ensure strictness and caution, avoiding negligence; direct localities to review facilities, ensure adequate conditions for election services, especially increase the preparation of additional ballot boxes to be proactive in the context of complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic and possible natural disasters; urge localities that have not yet organized election training for election committees and teams to do so immediately.
Regarding information and propaganda work, it is necessary to increase the frequency and appropriate form in the context of fighting the Covid-19 epidemic; pay attention to the work of handing over documents to resolve complaints and denunciations in accordance with the law.
Continue to strengthen the situation and proactively develop plans to ensure security and order on election day.
